Join a paid study program to earn some extra income!
Myelin Healthcare is conducting a series of studies to help make Artificial Intelligence (AI) safe for healthcare applications. In these studies you will use your unique frontline experience and knowledge to assess an AI Medical Assistant across a variety of dimensions, including medical safety, empathy, and bias.
Who is eligible to participate?
All US licensed nurses are eligible to participate. The mobile app will ask you to provide your license number for verification.
No applications necessary! You can get started right now by following our instruction guide to download the mobile app and get started.
We are looking for more nurses like you! We need diverse clinical feedback from all types of nurses. Please feel free to share our invitation with coworkers, friends, and family who are Registered Nurses.
How does the study work?
Studies will be administered via our Myelin Health mobile app. The studies will include a series of phone calls with an AI Medical Assistant. After each call you’ll be asked follow up questions to assess the AI’s medical safety, empathy, and bias.
The studies can be started/paused anytime at your convenience. Each call typically lasts about 10 minutes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does payment work?
During registration in the mobile app, we will collect your preference of Venmo or Paypal so that we can send money directly to you. As you complete tasks, the funds will be automatically sent each Wednesday. We will occasionally have fun competitions with extra prizes!
What do I need to do to get paid?
Payments are issued for every completed Study. Each study consists of a series of calls that last about 10-15min each. Participants must complete all calls in a study in order to receive payment. At this time, we do not issue payments for partially complete studies or individual calls.
Will I be talking with real patients?
Nope. You will be playing the role of a patient and taking calls from an AI Medical Assistant who is calling to check in on your health and wellbeing. After each call there is a short questionnaire to complete.
Can I work on the app or the web?
Currently the studies can only be completed via our Myelin Healthcare mobile application. Follow our instructions guide to get started!
Do I need to commit to a minimum number of hours?
No! At Myelin Healthcare we believe in meeting medical professionals where there are. We enable medical professionals to earn more and contribute to making AI safer on their schedule. Studies can be started/paused at any time for your convenience. Each call only takes about 10 minutes to complete.
Do I need to be a medical professional to participate?
Yes, we are currently having only licensed nurses join the program. If you are not currently licensed, please follow our facebook page and we will let you know when we have a study available for other groups!
